Many Tab, little memory in Firefox

The more we open the tab in the browser, the more memory is also used. Perhaps this is not a problem if the memory that we have sufficient, but if not then the web browser or other applications that we are open to be less responsive.

For that you use Firefox, there are add-on that provides additional tab bar to the browser window in which we can save the tab that opens the TooManyTabs.

We must use it to direct the cursor to one of the tabs, this will bring the arrow to the top if the tab is clicked will move to the top of the (temporary bar). With the move tab bar to the temporary memory that Firefox is used will be reduced. This is because the memory used by the tab has been released.

From the experiments conducted with 25 tabs open in Firefox, the memory that is used for 184MB. After all the tabs to move to temporary bar, Firefox memory consumption is reduced to be 133MB.

Reducing the memory in Firefox is just one of many other ftur owned TooManyTabs, other features that we can get by using the add-on is this:

* There are many lines to save more than 50 tab
* Restore tab more than 20 that have been previously closed
* Marking the tab with the colors of the different
* It can set the number of lines that are displayed
* The option to open a new tab on the tab that you are open
* Open the tab all on the same line in the temporary bar
* Marking the tab is opened so that we can access them easily.

One of the interesting things that other add-on from this is when Firefox is closed or in the restart, the tabs that are stored in temporary bar does not disappear, but will participate in the restored automatically. So do not worry about losing your own list of the tab if a browser is closed when accidentally. (via CyberNetNews)
